The Department of Justice and Home Affairs is appellate jurisdiction for all appeals under its responsibility.
Appeals proceedings according to the Law on Legal Protection in Administrative Matters (LPAM) (normal case)
Once the facts of the case have been determined, the 60-day deadline starts within which the decision has to be made. The parties are informed of the conclusion of facts. If the deadline cannot be met, the parties will be informed thereof, indicating the reasons for it.
The decision on appeal states the reasons as well as instructions about the person's right to appeal, the latter indicating the admissible appeal, appellate jurisdiction and the period for filing an appeal.
